I completely agree with jessica. Most people on here are saying i don`t
mind who my children marry as long as he`s sikh that`s bullshit!!! I`m
born a sikh but i will marry someone who i love i don`t care about
their religion after reading these posts i`m seriously considering
becoming an antheist i believe in god but don`t have a particular
religion. LOVE HAS NO BOUNDARIES, IT KNOWS NO LAWS, IT SEES PAST ALL
FAITHS AND COULORS!!! Stop corupting minds ppl. Children who are the
result of interfaith marriages shows me that change is afoot and those
children will have a richer culture. Does no one care about individual
happiness anymore or do you only care about what people think? Get some
backbone and stop judgeing people on the grounds of religion cuz i know
when i find that one person i won`t not marry him just because of his
faith a partnership is all about compormise and i feel sorry for those
of you that find yourselfs incapable of compromising.
Why is that bullshit? That is their choice? It sounds as if you are more narrow minded than them? This is called Pseudo-Liberalism. You tell people to be liberal and when they don`t you act like a fascist.
One could say you are showing a prejudice who choose to marry within their own groups.
I dated a Punjabi Sikh girl because I knew it would be easier for us and our children in the long term, and I have been proved right. Friends who married out generally have ended up divorced.
Saying that I believe people are free to marry whoever they want.
I also do not believe Love is everything, purely because if me and my girlfriend had just relied on love after we were married we would be divorced now.
