I am going to have to Agree with Aman. Babbu and Pali are probably the best Punjabi Boliyan Singers in the nation. (Gabroo Shokeen De Anza/SJSU) I think Pally used to Sing for the Punjabi Traveling Team too. Babbu used to sing in Punjab Night`s hosted in California and is the singer for the Punjabi Lok Virsa Team.

Sonia may be the best female singer in the nation. She recived an offer after one of her performances to sign a deal with Bally Sagoo.
She sang about 3-4 years ago in Michigan and At San Jose State for I think it was Gt Road Dhey Mundey or some team from Down South in Califronia.


After those two, I think the list expands a little. I will have to Say Sunny Babbar belongs on that list and Jagmeet Singh Raju (aka Jagga) belongs on that list. Rajinder Sanghu is also a very good singer and is probably at the same level at these other tow singers mentioned.

Note all of these singers are on the West Coast. These are the best singers I have heard going to COmpetitions up and down the West Coast. I haven`t heard too many singers from Central or the Eastern Unuted States, so I did not mention any of their names. There are probably a couple good singers out there too.

It is great to see these singers keep the roots real and sing their traditional boliyan.
