Dear Dawn, go back to University. Mithras worship is ancient and predates Christianity by a long shot. It was a standard religious cult og Greece and Rome BEFORE there were even Christians. Also if you bother to read early Christian history, you will read discourses between pagans of Greece and Rome against Christians explaining the same things I have said, that Christians borrowed from this pagan cult. This is why December 25, and ressurection at Easter time still are described as Christian holidays.

As you see here, Zoroastrianism is so ancient that its theology actually influenced Judaism, which predates Christianity by several centuries.
