I wanna get married to my boyfriend because i want to spend the rest of my life with him, i mean for God sake we have been together for last 4 years and thats heaps longer than some str8 relationships i came across.......

i dont care about equal rights 2 b honest, we already r recognised as a couple and we have rights as every other str8 couple, i just want to make a point to other Gay Sikhs(yea summy they do exist but as a minority) that u can actually stand up for yourself and fight this war against 2000 year old traditional society, i know its going to b terribly hard but u gotta start somewhere if u expect people to change...

i could easily turn around and say "i dont care and i dont give a dead rats arse" but i am not like that, i dont want to lose my religion and my culture just because i m gay and i hate people suggesting me to give up Sikhism just because they think its forbidden......(half of the time ppl dont know what they are talking about)

i know you are a Sikh, but do u use Singh as ur surname like Guru Jee asked us to do, i bet not as most Sikhs use Singh as their middle name, well Guru Jee forbid us to use anyother surname other than Singh/Kaur and yet we all feel proud using our self made surnames and proudly divide people into various castes... is that what Guru Jee asked us to do? So if Sikh people can believe in caste system, why cant they accept damn gays & lesbians??? i just dont get it, it feels so superficial and makes me mad, it feels like we only want to believe in what seems convenient and forget about everything else - how pathetic!
