Though I know there are a ton of people who will rail on this and say it`s insignificant b/c college teams don`t matter when compared to independent teams...
There was huge growth in the collegiate circut on the East Coast. VCU, GW, and RU were frontrunners...others that have been established for a while include Cornell, UNC, Columbia, Boston..there`s MIT, West Virginia, CMU, UPitt, Duke, St. Johns, Northwestern, UMich (fine it`s the midwest), Drexel, UIUC, and my own team Yale. I know I`m forgetting a few...but I think it`s quite amazing how bhangra really spread like wildfire in colleges. A lot of these teams have non-South Asians on them too...I definitely noticed this this year.
