Re: Re: Re: Bhagat Singh--the real inspi Jagjit, you let 1984, a horrible horrible occurance be your reason to not be proud of the history of 1984? Let me put it in conext for you, our history of India spans THOUSANDS of years, and you let a bunch of idiots like the gandhi government and the mobs make up your understanding of history? What the thousands of years of history without any of that crap? Do you have any idea how highly regarded the history of India is? White people come from all across the world to be part of a country which such a rich history and culture, and you say your NOT proud? Wow, people envy the fact im from india, and you dont even realize how rich the history is... PS- Bhindranwale was nott a shaheed, dont put him in the same breathe as Bhagat Singh. Bhindranwale maybe had a noble idea, but he brought guns into Harimandir Sahib ji, and taunted the government to come in. As a sikh, I look at sikhs, not anyone else, so I can never forgive him for taking hostage in our Harimandir Sahib. Udaam Singh, Bhagat Singh and others, never disrespect their own kind when they stood up for what they believed, those are TRUE sikhs, unifiers not dividers. Discussion Thread
