Re: Re: Re: Married Punjabi man
Hi,
This might sound harsh but I don`t think it`s fair of you to break a family to form your own. When you had the chance, you didn`t marry him but now he belongs to someone else. Obviously the woman was forced into arranged marriage as well...It`s not fair that her husband can now just leave her because he is now in love with someone else. In the old days, couples were arranged married all the time and they had to find a way to work that relationship and they learn to love each other. However, the prescense of another woman can cause many conflicts. You say you now have that Intimacy and you can`t go back. You can ALWAYS go back. Get out of his life; accept the truth that he doesnt belong to you. I respect your love and I am sure he loves you just as much and would be happier if he was with you. But you shouldn`t forget the fact that you will be ruining another`s life. You still have options as you`re young and single. You might say you can never find love like that again. Time heals everything or at least helps. You say he would support his wife financially...I am sure she didn`t get married to him for financial support. What if someone told you that he can take care of you financially? That`s really painful to hear...where is the other woman to go? The society will probably condemn her for losing her husband to another woman.
Ofcourse you can say it`s not your responsibility to care for the other woman but do think about this...would you be able to live with the guilt that you took away somebody`s happiness to gain yours? Would you guy friend ever forget that? When/If you ever have a fight with your husband, I gurantee he will put the blame on you for leaving his ex wife...

As a single person you always have options...as a husband/wife you have responsiblities/commitments that you have made towards each other...one must never forget the vows they have made to the other, whether it was through love or arranged...those vows are sacred, not meant to be broken...

Remember this, nothing is a sure thing...the fact that he won`t leave you is not a sure thing...as much as you`d like to believe it is...

And btw, do they have any children?
