Bottom line is Randip your not understanding the connation that meat eating is formed in.

Your using english words and not going beyond the words to realize the sentiment and if sikhi philosophy matches with Max Maculiffe`s translation or not.

 

The fact that you believe every living thing has an atma, including rocks, plants (by your croocked understanding) etc... a true gursikh is that because we have no alligence to the body, and we respect the soul (if you look at what we do with ceremonies regarding death, what bani consists of, its the purity of the soul) then you have respect for the soul.

When you kill innocent souls, being human, babies, cats, dogs, chicken, cow whatever, they are all the same in sikhi.

If you go by literal translation by Max and nothing beyond that, a lot is justified in sikhi.

Drinking, Smoking, Drugs, Coccaine, any type of intoxication.

Guru Ji preached purity, and purity doesnt consists of killing an innocent atma. IN sikhi there is no difference between a baby, 3 year old, and a chicken, absolutely NO DIFFERENCE sikhi terms. So, if you can be a cannibal in my terms, and you accept this and say sikhi believes in this, then when you meet your judgement day, the skewed macluiffe sikhi you back up wont be able to hold any weight, and you know this.
