My boyfriend is Punjabi and I am american (caucasian). We have been together for a while now and he wants to get married. But the only way that he feels that his parents would let us get married is if I get pregnant first. I guess what i dont understand is why he can`t just tell his parents that he is in love. I would think that they would be happier for him to be in love, rather than to get a white girl pregnant. I also feel that they would always have a bad impression of me. They would always think of me as a burden to him. If any of you have any thoughts at all....PLEASE HELP!
