| i just want to clarify something, its about halal method of killing an animal, why do you think that muslims try to prolong the suffering of the animal?
if you chop the head of a animal it can still move about and DOES not make death instant! chickens which have had their head cut off still run around etc...
i am in no way trying to get sikhs to eat halal meat as its forbidden in your religion but be clear that the suffering of the animal is not desired. no matter how we kill an animal it suffers, the result is the same.
i have seen videos of stunning in the UK where the cow is getting cut up while its still alive and hanging from the hooks of death. |
I really do not want to get into the pro`s and con`s of which method is better.
Bottom line is that Halaal is a ritual slaughter...........Sikhs do not conform to any ritualism, be it Hindu, Buddhist, Muslims, Bahai, ................even Sikh (yes Sikhs have started developing rituals too).............this is what our faith tells us.
It is nothing personal to Muslims my friend.
