The youth of today, ie. generation of tommorow was not alive then (well those born after 84 atleast) thus, you cant really blame us for that.....

and as for the Hindus in India.. I completely understand, maybe 50 years down the line it wont be such a sensitive topic, but the fact is .. its too recent to forget for a majority of the families.. I completely understand...

However, something else you should consider is Hindus are not unified under any specific banner.. maybe under being INDIAN, but not under being Hindu, whereas other religions are actively unified under the banner of religion, Hindus are not. So when one hindu does something, we, dont look at it as "hindus did that".. because 80 percent of the population is Hindu, some people never actually encounter those that are not Hindus... they see it that people did this to the SIkhs, thus you can blame the well known curropt Congress, and the weak nation of India. 

Not even a century has been reached since INdia gained independence.. the nation is still weak and recuperating, its building itself.. it has many plagues it needs to attend to...  this being one of them... thus you may be right in your contention but also realize the turmoil.. i guess.. the future of India hopefully is very differnt..
