Of course they are double standards. I believe that India`s larger problems are all works of higher casted hindus. For example, gandhi preached a message that was only applicable to the 10-12% of higher casted hindus. Yes, the riots of 1984, were the works of higher casted hindu leaders, who sponsored mobs to go out and kill. They are ego-centric people, and to think there is no tension between hindu castes is probably wrong.

 

But this is aside from your understanding. There were also some hindus who defended sikh during the riots. Hindus who paid their life for it. The biggest rally was a student rally by hindus and sikhs joint in Chandigarh, not to mention those in Delhi.

The government controls to media and anyone against nationalism is wrong. Be them, sikh hindu or muslim, they are wrong. If there was a hindu organization that was against the nationalism, then they would be reffered to as terrorists.

But to hold a billion people responsible for ethnocentric idiot that cant go beyond the thousands, is extremely idiotic.

Your sikh ignorance, is hurting hindus in punjab far removed from any of the violence in delhi or who make idiotic sikh jokes. You also alienate the hindus in southern india, who are just as opposed to the government then you are. You also alienate the millions of hindus worldwide who dont support anything like how you said

Should people think that all sikhs enjoy killing hindus, and muslims?

Should people think that all sikhs supported the bombing of air India, and the bombings around punjab?

Should people think that all  gursikhs supported the violence that plagued punjab for decades?

Should people think that all sikhs are violent, angry, disrespectful people?

Should all people think that sikhs pretend they are Guru Gobind Singh Ji, and amass hundreds of followers?

Should all people think that sikhs will support the british and kill their own sikhs, like what happened in the mid 1800`s?

Should people think that all sikhs want the death of everyone not sikh?

 

 

If you are willing to say that it is acceptable to judge the whole hindu population by the acts of a few, then it MUST be acceptable to judge the sikh population by the acts of a few...

Therefore are sikh violent and angry creatures? By your logic, you are calling all Guru Ji`s violent, racist, and horrible people...
