Re: Re: Re: Meat is not Forbidden In Sik
you have to be kidding me seriously...
First off, if you read my website, you will see why your defenses are idiotic.
There is only ONE shabad in the whole guru granth sahib ji that DOESNT outrightly say eating meat is wrong. First off randip, lets get one thing straight, you use the english version of the guru granth sahib ji. It was known and still known that the Max Macauliffe pruposely changed the translation so he could promote british objectives with religious objectives. But meat eating wanna be sikhs, use this shabad to try to use OBSECURITY, UNCERTANITY and AMBIGIOUSNESS TO PROMOTE THEIR DIGUSTING LIFESTYLES:
Maas Maas Kar Moorakh Jhaghrrey.
Only the fool quarrels over the question of eating or not eating of the meat.
NOWHERE IS THIS SHABAD DOES IT SAY WE EAT MEAT. IN FACT IF YOU UNDERSTAND GURMUKHI YOU REALIZE WHAT GURU JI IS SAYING IS THAT WE OURSELVES ARE MADE OF MEAT. THE EXACT SAME MEAT SOLD IN MARKETS, THAT PEOPLE INFLUENCED BY THE DEVIL EAT.
OUR FAMILIES MADE OF MEAT
OUR FRIENDS MADE OF MEAT
Nowhere in this shabad is there any indication that we should eat meat. Just that we shouldn`t hate it because WE are made of meat and we shouldn`t think that by giving it up we are spiritual. There is no indication in this shabad that says "meat eating is ok". In fact this shabad indicates to us that we are meat and we should recognize that just as the thought of eating a dead body is revolting, the thought of eating meat should be as well. Because that?s precisely what it is: a dead body, and the same stuff our body is made of.
now here are shabads that all prohibit meat eating. Think about this, you get one OBSECURE reference to meat eating, and the meat eating devils want people to focus on those.... BUT WHAT ABOUT THE NUMEROUS THAT PROHIBIT MEAT EATING... THEY WANT US TO FORGET ABOUT THOSE ONES HUH?
No true gursikh can do that.
Kabeer jeea ju maraih jor kar, kaihte hai jo halaal
Sayeth Kabir, sayeth thou by "forcefully" killing living beings, Halaal.
Kabeer jor keeaa su julam hai, lay-e jabaab khudaae
Sayeth Kabir, using force is unlawful, God shall question this.
Bed Kateb kahaih mat jhootey, jhootaa jo naa bichaarai,
Do not say that the vedas are false, false are those who do not reflect.
Kabeer bhang mashalee suraapaan, jo jo pranee khaan-he
suraapaan=alcohol rasaatal=below hell, underground.
Those people who drink bhang, eat fish, drink alcohol,
Kabeer khoob khaanaa kheecharee, jaa mai amrit loon,
heyraa=meat by hunting
Sayeth Kabir, that the best food is eating, kichree=dals where nectar-sweet is the salt.
Jeea badh-hu su dharam kar thaaphu, adharam kaih-hu kat bhaaee.
munivar-saintly people kaasaaee-butchers badh-hu=killing
There are many more as well by Bhai Gurdas ji,
Var 31 pouRee 9
je kasaaee udhariaa, jeea ghaae na khaaeeaa bhungaa.
Just because the Guru has saved the butcher,
(Need to read the whole Var to understand the first half of my statement!)
Guru Arjan Dev Ji says, Pg 201
Bed PaRai mukh meeTee BaNee, Jeean kuhat na sangai praaNee.
sangai=ashamed kuhat-kill praaNee-humans Jeean-living beings
After reading the entire shabad, this line depicts, that the so called learned, saintly people read the sweet hymns of the Veds using their mouths, however they do not hesitate(feel ashamed) to kill animals
The confused people who manipulate guru ji`s word for the benefit of their own lifestyle, those people are the product of kalyug, the age of darkness. LIke guru ji said above, right now, in physical manisfestation, they feel justified, and use obsucrity to justify their disgusting ways, hwowver, when the decider greets them, then they will be paying their price, for bitting into a peice of skin that may as well be their grandparents reincarnated.
Here is to hoping that when randip`s parents pass away, that his parents are reincarnated into the same peice of meat he bites down into. And the same animal who is innoncently murdered will be his parents atma reincarnated.
