You are right that before almost all players were from Punjab. That is because punjabies has always been fit people. Brits could have sent teams from Bengal or Orissa, or what ever, but they didn`t... Simply because those people cannot play hockey. I don`t think it is fair that the team had to be represent by region. They should concentrate om players with talent, not where they come from.
