Many faiths say one thing but then frequently contradict what they believe in some way. It`s made me kinda remove myself from religion. I was raised Christian but due to the hypocrisy in the church(es) and the fact that when I point out something that doesn`t seem right...I feel that I almost get shunned in a way. I believe in God but I think it`s good that I`ve taken a minute to not identify with any particular religion. It`s interesting that everyone`s beliefs are so different in MANY ways but everyone seems to think that they are right. So who is? I don`t think anyone really adheres to God`s true message. It`s like...in the beginning everyone does and then they break off into what THEY want... what THEY think God wants. There are SO many different denominations of Christianity. They all have different opinions or do somethign slightly different but act like this is what God really meant for us to do. But it`s not. It`s only their interpretation.

I personally think that God has had many prophets to deliver a piece of the truth to the world but there are many things that we don`t understand. Most Christians will disagree with my beliefs because I believe in reincarnation and I believe in a powerful divine force that comes from God that we can use for healing... life energy. But, based on personal experiences, and stories I`ve heard from others, I know there are things that we don`t fully understand. I think what God really wants is for us to understand one another and put all the pieces together. But please take note that I said " I think". Anyway, so that`s why I ask questions if there`s something I`m not entirely sure of, like why women sit on the opposite side at the Gurdwara. Thanks Rupinder for your answer.
