This is a dish that my family really loves. I learned it from my mother in Punjab and encourage you all to try it yourselves.

Ingredients
1 tablespoon cumin seeds
1 tablespoon paprika
1 & 1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper
1 tablespoon ground turmeric
1-1&1/2 teaspoons black pepper
3 teaspoons salt
3 cloves garlic, peeled and mashed
6 tablespoons lemon juice
4 lb chicken pieces, skinned
3 tablespoons vegetable oil
Preparation
1. Combine cumin, paprika, cayenne, turmeric, black pepper, salt, garlic, and lemon juice in a bowl. Mix. Rub mixture over chicken pieces, pushing paste inside any openings.
2. Spread chicken pieces in baking tray, skin side down, and set aside in cool place for 3 hours.
3. Preheat oven to 400F. Brush tops of chicken pieces with oil. Put the chicken in oven and bake for 20 minutes. Turn pieces over and back for another 25 minutes.
4. Remove extra fat. Serve hot and enjoy!!
