This is a dish that my family really loves. I learned it from
my mother in Punjab and encourage you all to try it yourselves.
Ingredients
1 tablespoon cumin seeds
1 tablespoon paprika
1 & 1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper
1 tablespoon ground turmeric
1-1&1/2 teaspoons black pepper
3 teaspoons salt
3 cloves garlic, peeled and mashed
6 tablespoons lemon juice
4 lb chicken pieces, skinned
3 tablespoons vegetable oil

Preparation

Combine cumin, paprika, cayenne, turmeric, black pepper, salt,
garlic, and lemon juice in a bowl. Mix. Rub mixture over chicken
pieces, pushing paste inside any openings. |

Spread chicken pieces in baking tray, skin side down, and set
aside in cool place for 3 hours. |

Preheat oven to 400F. Brush tops of chicken pieces with oil. Put
the chicken in oven and bake for 20 minutes. Turn pieces over and
back for another 25 minutes. |

Remove extra fat. Serve hot and enjoy!! |
