Cal-Poly Pomona`s Sitare Punjab De is one of the hottest bhangra teams in Southern California. In 2002 Cal-Poly has combined their two teams to make one superior team that will represent Cal-Poly and all the true bhangra lovers. This new & invigorating team holds a promising and artistic foundation of dancers from all over India. Many of these dancers have competed in several competitions throughout their bhangra careers. Cal-Poly has been known to be very traditional and creative in the past and will continue to electrify the crowd with the traditional bhangra skills of Punjab. Next year these elite individuals will be proud to bring to you another Southern California`s hottest event, "Mela."
