GTA Bhangra is a newly formed bhangra team representing the Greater Toronto Area. The team consists of twelve male dancers who all have ten or more years of competitive dancing experience. All dancers individually possess the skills and experience necessary to compete at an international level. They have all performed in many functions for different schools and teams throughout their lives in the GTA area. After years of dancing in the GTA area, they decided to combine their talents, experiences and skills, to form one of Toronto?s most competitive bhangra teams ever! Not only will they be dancing in competitions in the GTA area, but they will be representing the GTA all over North America.
This group of promising students balance school, extra-curricular activities, part-time jobs and bhangra in a rewarding fashion. Amongst this group are aspiring chartered accountants, business men, lawyers, dentists, engineers, doctors and professors. All members have also been very active in their respective communities throughout their lives. They aim not only to have fun while dancing, but to promote their celebrated culture with great impact everywhere they go. They focus on mastering traditional Bhangra moves with utmost competence and passion.
