Editorial Review
Below is the official Punjab Online review.

XLNC has bounced back to the Bhangra music scene after some time off. With new music producer Abrar Nazir, XLNC has emerged with a new sound. Straying from their original dhol pumping tracks, XLNC has adopted a new pop flavor that actually doesn`t sound too bad. It has a real variety of songs-- ranging from bhangra, garage, pop, salsa, and soul. "Balle Balle" is a good song with a catchy melody and with some pretty creative instrumentals that give the song a funk/pop vibe. Akhian Tu Billa is also another good bhangra song on the album that has a hard dhol line and some of that old-fashioned XLNC high energy. Some respect needs to go to their most creative track, Dil Leh Gaye. Th! e track is very original in that the beat is latin house/salsa with some catchy Punjabi lyrics. It is refreshing to see bhangra artists trying different styles apart from the typical R&B and garage music that has become mainstream.

We are all happy to see XLNC cd`s back in the music stores. However, their new style is distinctly different in comparison with their old albums. With a more pop, contemporary sound, it might take listeners a little while to get acclamated to their new music. "Jus Chillin" is a decent album that is pretty well rounded. XLNC`s singer`s voice is superb as usual. Unfortunately, tracks like Sajna really kill the quality of the album as we see XLNC trying a little to hard to be "American" (the track and music is directly copied off an a popular contemporary American R&B song). Also, there is really no song on this album which is really "hot" or which will make some noise in the bhangra industry. Jus Chillin is a good compilation-- but just doesn`t have that same XLNC edge and fire that we heard in their previous albums.
