Editorial Review
Below is the official Punjab Online review.
This is the last B21 album that will feature the talented
vocals of Jassi Sidhu, as he departed from the band. For this last
record, Jassi has done wonders. The hit first track, Jawani, has rocked the
charts and the dance floor. The catchy tune, taken from a popular
American pop song, is mixed in wonderfully with Jassi`s voice. The track,
which ends with the line: "Jawaani, its a precious thing," leads us into
the next song, "Jaan." This is the track that truly brings out Jassi`s
talents: its truly sweet to listen to his energetic voice. The track
features a traditional Punjabi beat that just makes you want to dance.
Its wicked, and one that has to be played over and over. "Dil," the third
track, starts off with a mellow tone of the flute, brings in some
drums, and then the line "Dil Mang De" from Jassi. This is a nice track to
listen to. The rest of the tracks are repeats of the first two tracks
and an old song from a previous album. So the album basically contains
three songs, but they are very hot! Good luck to Jassi.

I thought this album was descent. Actually the fact that it was the last album by B21, was a prank by Musicbox Records to sell more copies. I also thought this alsum was just a collection of older songs that have been remixed. I would not buy this album at full price, unless Musicbox put it down to about $.00

I think lots of these UK artists just rip off of old songs, or if they are really pathetic, just off each other. So the fact that this album is a remix of old songs is not a big deal. I think it is pretty good, especially song number two, it is the only true Bhangra song on this album. Moviebox is a rip off, they just raise the prices of albums way too much.
