AMqu n isPqI khix n AMqu ]
ant naa siftee kahan naa ant.
suAwmI dI is&q SlwGw dw koeI EVk nhIN qy nwhI EVk hY ies dy AwKx vwilAW dw[
There is no limit to the Lord's praises and to those who describe.

AMqu n krxY dyix n AMqu ]
ant naa karnai dayn naa ant.

Limitless are His workings and limitless His givings.

AMqu n vyKix suxix n AMqu ]
ant naa vaykhan sunan naa ant.
vwihgurU dy dyKx dw koeI EVk nhIN Aqy nW hI EVk hY ausdy srvx krn dw[
There is no limit to watching and hearing His virtues.

AMqu n jwpY ikAw min mMqu ]
ant naa jaapai ki-aa man mant.
swihb dy idl dw kI mnorQ hY? ies dw EVk jwixAw nhIN jWdw[
What is Lord's motive? It's limit is not known.

AMqu n jwpY kIqw Awkwru ]
ant naa jaapai keetaa aakaar.
ausdI rcI hoeI rcnw dw EVk mlUm nhIN huMdw[
The limit of His created creation is not discerned.

AMqu n jwpY pwrwvwru ]
ant naa jaapai paaraavaar.
ausdy ies qy aus iknwry dw Qhu pqw jwixAw nhIN jWdw[
The bound of His this and yonder end is not known.

AMq kwrix kyqy ibllwih ]
ant kaaran kaytay bil-laahi.
ausdw h`d-bMnw jwxn leI Gnyry ivrlwp krdy hn,
Good many bewail for knowing His bounds

qw ky AMq n pwey jwih ]
taa kay ant naa paa-ay jaahi.
pRMqU ausdy EVkW dw pqw nhIN l`gdw[
but His limits are not found.

eyhu AMqu n jwxY koie ]
ayhu ant naa jaanai ko-i.
ieh pwrwvwr koeI nhIN jwx skdw[
This limit none can know.

bhuqw khIAY bhuqw hoie ]
bahutaa kahee-ai bahutaa ho-i.
ijMnw vDyry AsIN ibAwn krdy hW, Enw vDyry AprisD auh ho jWdw hY[
The more we describe, the more obscure He becomes.

vfw swihbu aUcw Qwau ]
vadaa saahib oochaa thaa-o.
ivSwl hY suAwmI Aqy bulµd aus dw Awsx[
Great is the Lord and high his seat.

aUcy aupir aUcw nwau ]
oochay upar oochaa naa-o.
ausdw nwm auicAW qoN mhwn au~cw hY[
His Name is the higher than the high.

eyvfu aUcw hovY koie ]
ayvad oochaa hovai ko-i.
jykr koeI jxw AYfw v`fw qy au~cw hovy, ij`fw auh hY,
If any one be as great and high as He is

iqsu aUcy kau jwxY soie ]
tis oochay k-a-o jaanai so-i.
qd hI auh aus nUµ jwx skyygw[
then alone he would know that Lofty Being.

jyvfu Awip jwxY Awip Awip ]
jayvad aap jaanai aap aap.
auh ik`fw v`fw hY, auh Kud hI jwxdw hY[
How great He is, only He Himself knows.

O Nanak! the compassionate Lord by His grace bestows gifts.
