Which is that gate and mansion, sitting where-in Thou takest care of all, O Lord!

vaajay naad anayk asankhaa kaytay vaavanhaaray.
bhuqIAW iksmW dy Axigxq sMgIqk Swj auQY gUMjdy hn Aqy AnykW hI hn auQy rwg krn vwly[
Countless musical instruments of various types resound there and too may are the musicians.

kyqy rwg prI isau khIAin kyqy gwvxhwry ]
kaytay raag paree si-o kahee-an kaytay gaavan-haaray.
AnykW qrwny AwpxIAW rwgnIAW smyq qy AnykW rwgI qyrw j`s gwauNdy hn[
Good many measures with their consorts and good many minstrels hymn Thee.

gwvih quhno pauxu pwxI bYsMqru gwvY rwjw Drmu duAwry ]
gaavahi tuhno pa-un paanee baisantar gaavai raajaa Dharam du-aaray.
gwauNdy hn qYnUµ hvw, jl, qy A`g Aqy Drmrwj qyry bUhy auqy qyrI kIrqI gwien krdw hY[
The wind, the water and fire sing Thee and the Righteous Justice sings Thine praises at Thy door.

The captivating She-seraphs who beguile the heart in paradise, this world and the nether-regions, sing Thee.

The fourteen invaluable objects created by Thee, with sixty-eight places of pilgrimage, hymn Thee.

gaavahi joDh mahaabal sooraa gaavahi khaanee chaaray.

The supremely mighty warriors and Divine heroes sing Thee and four sources of creation magnify Thee.

gaavahi khand mandal varbhandaa kar kar rakhay Dhaaray.

The continents, worlds and solar systems, created and installed by Thy hand, chant Thine glories.

say-ee tuDhuno gaavahi jo tuDh bhaavan ratay tayray bhagat rasaalay.
jo qYNfy swDU, jyhVy qYnUµ cMgy l`gdy hn Aqy jo AMimRq dy Gr qyry nwm AMdr rMgIjy hn, auh BI qYnUµ gwauNdy hn[
Thy saints who are pleasing to Thee and are steeped in Name (the home of Nector), they alone eulogise Thee.

hor kaytay gaavan say mai chit naa aavan naanak ki-aa veechaaray.
hor bhuqyry, ijnHW nUµ mYN Awpxy mn AMdr icqvn nhIN kr skdw, qYnUµ gwauNdy hn[ nwnk aunHW dw iks qrHW iKAwl kr skdw hY?
Many others, whom I cannot recollect within my mind, sing Thee. How can Nanak think of them?

so-ee so-ee sadaa sach saahib saachaa saachee naa-ee.
auh, auh suAwmI sdIv hI s`cw hY[ auh s`q hY, Aqy s`q hY aus dw nwm[
That and that Lord is ever true His is true and true is His Name.

hY BI hosI jwie n jwsI rcnw ijin rcweI ]
hai bhee hosee jaa-i naa jaasee rachnaa jin rachaa-ee.
ijs ny isRStI swjI hY, auh hY qy hovygw BI, isRStI Alop hox qy vI auh nhIN jwvygw[
He, who created the creation is and shall also be. He shall not depart when the creation shall depart (disappear).

rangee rangee bhaatee kar kar jinsee maa-i-aa jin upaa-ee.
vwihgurU ijs ny sMswr swijAw hY, ny keI qrIikAW duAwrw AnykW rMgqW Aqy iksmW dI rcnw rcI hY[
God, who fashioned the world, has by diverse contrivances created the creation of various colours and Kinds.

kar kar vaykhai keetaa aapnaa jiv tis dee vadi-aa-ee.

Having created the creation, He as it pleases His Honour, beholds His handiwork.

jo tis bhaavai so-ee karsee hukam naa karnaa jaa-ee.
jo kuC aus nUµ BwauNdw hY, auhI auh krdw hY[ koeI jxw aus nUµ Purmwn jwrI nhIN kr skdw[
Whatever pleases Him, He does that. No one can issue an order to Him.

so paatisaahu saahaa paatisaahib naanak rahan rajaa-ee. ||27||

He is the King, the Emperor of the Kings, Nanak remains subject to His will.
